Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended for Cole and can be booked online through Setmore. Jacob accepts walk-ins during regular business hours and also takes appointments via his own Setmore link. Saturday mornings book up fast — if you want a specific Saturday time, book ahead.
How long is an appointment?
All appointments are booked as 30-minute slots. That covers the consultation, the cut, lineup, and brush-down for every service we offer.
What if I am running late?
Call the shop at (517) 881-4266 as soon as you know. If you are 5–10 minutes late we can usually still fit you in. Anything beyond that depends on the next appointment — we may need to reschedule so we are not cutting your next client late.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Use the Setmore link in your booking confirmation to change or cancel your appointment. If you cannot find it, call the shop and we will sort it out. We just ask for as much notice as you can give.
Can I book Cole or Jacob specifically?
Yes. Cole takes appointments through the main Setmore link. Jacob also takes appointments through his own Setmore link (see the staff page) and accepts walk-ins during open hours. If you have a regular barber, book with them so the cut stays consistent over time.
SERVICES & PRICING
What services do you offer?
Haircut ($23), Haircut + Beard ($28), Bald Fade ($26), Kids Haircut ($20 for 12 and under), Senior Haircut ($20 for 65 and older), and standalone Beard Trim ($10). See the Services page for full details on each.
What styles do you cut?
Everything modern barbershops are asked for — fades (low, mid, high, bald), tapers, textured crops, side parts, classic scissor cuts, crew cuts, buzz cuts, and longer styles. Bring a reference photo if you have a specific cut in mind.
Do you cut all hair types?
Yes. Both barbers cut straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair, and have experience with all hair textures.
Should I book Haircut + Beard or two separate services?
Book Haircut + Beard ($28) if you want both done in one appointment. That is cheaper than booking a $23 haircut and a $10 beard trim separately ($33), and the cut and beard get planned together so they balance with your face shape.
How do you handle kids haircuts?
Kids 12 and under are $20. We take time, listen to what the kid wants, show them the tools before turning them on if they are nervous, and let parents sit nearby. Most nervous first-time kids are completely comfortable by their second visit.

Where is the shop?
The original Potterville location is at 121 S Hartel, Potterville, MI 48876. A second Dimondale location is at 111 N Bridge St, Dimondale, MI 48821.
What are your hours?
Potterville: Monday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Wednesday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thursday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Closed Tuesday and Sunday.
What towns do you serve?
We are based in Potterville and serve clients from across Eaton County and greater Lansing — Charlotte, Grand Ledge, Dimondale, Lansing, Eaton Rapids, Holt, Mason, and Olivet are all within a 25-minute drive.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking right out front of the Potterville shop. Easy in, easy out.
PAYMENT & TIPPING
What forms of payment do you take?
Cash, credit/debit cards, and most mobile payment methods (Apple Pay, Google Pay). Tips can be added to card payments or left in cash.
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is appreciated but never expected. If you want to tip, 15–20% on the service price is the typical range — same as any service business. Cash tips and card tips both work.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Ask in the shop or call (517) 881-4266 to arrange a gift card. Good for any service.
ABOUT THE SHOP
Who owns Cole Cutsss?
Cole Davis, a 2021 Potterville High School graduate, opened the Potterville shop in January 2024. He owns and operates it. In January 2026, Cole Cutsss was named Michigan House District 76 Small Business of the Month by Representative Angela Witwer.
