Grand Ledge is one of our closest neighbors. The shop is about 9 miles south, a straight shot down M-100 through Eagle — usually 15 minutes door to door. Clients drive in from across Grand Ledge for fades, beard work, and regular cuts.

The drive from Grand Ledge

M-100 runs north–south through both Grand Ledge and Potterville. From downtown Grand Ledge, head south on M-100. You’ll pass through Eagle (small town, takes about 30 seconds) and continue into Potterville. Turn east on Lansing Street, then south on Hartel — the shop is at 121 S Hartel with parking right out front.

From the east side of Grand Ledge near Fitzgerald Park or the high school, the drive is closer to 12 minutes — you can hop onto Hartel Road earlier and skip M-100 entirely. From the north side of Grand Ledge near the Ledges, plan on 18 minutes.

Why Grand Ledge clients come to Cole Cutsss

Grand Ledge has a small handful of barber and salon options. Most are fine for a general clean-up — what Cole Cutsss offers that’s harder to find locally:

Skilled fade work. Bald fades and high fades require time, sharp tools, and a barber who cuts a lot of them. We have all three. Most chain-style cuts are built for speed, and skin-level fade work is the first thing that suffers.

Two named barbers. You book with Cole specifically (through Setmore) or walk in for Jacob. Your barber learns your preferences over visits and gives you the same cut every time — without you having to re-explain it.

Real consultation. Every appointment starts with a quick conversation about what you want before any clippers come on. Bring a reference photo if you have one. We will recommend a cut that works with your face shape and hair type, not just default to whatever’s easy.

30-minute appointments. Long enough to do a real cut, not a rushed one. Most clients are in and out in 25–35 minutes total including the chat.
