Where we are, from Charlotte

The Potterville shop sits at 121 S Hartel — just off M-100, the same road that connects Potterville to Charlotte and Lansing. From downtown Charlotte (near the Eaton County Courthouse), head north on Cochran Road, continue onto Lansing Street, and you are in Potterville in roughly 10 minutes. Parking is right out front of the shop.

If you are coming from west Charlotte or near Charlotte High School, M-50 connects to Lansing Street and the drive is about the same time. From the south side of Charlotte near Bennett Park, head north on Cochran and you are at the shop in under 15 minutes.

Three things, mostly:

1. We do fades and bald fades the way they are supposed to be done. Charlotte has chain options (Great Clips and Supercuts equivalents) and a small number of independents. What chain shops are built for is speed and volume — and that is the opposite of what makes a clean fade. A bald fade done in 12 minutes by someone who cuts 30 heads a day is not the same as a bald fade done in a 30-minute slot with proper blending. Clients who want that difference make the drive.

2. We name the barbers and take consultations seriously. You are booking with Cole or with Jacob — not “whoever is next.” That continuity matters if you keep a consistent style, want your barber to remember your preferences from last time, or want to actually talk through what you want before any clippers come on.

If you are driving up, book ahead so you are not waiting. Two ways to book:

• Cole takes appointments through Setmore — pick a specific time that fits your schedule
• Jacob accepts walk-ins during regular business hours, first-come, first-served

If you are on a tight schedule and driving up specifically for the appointment, book with Cole. If you are running errands in Potterville and a walk-in works for you, Jacob is your option.

Saturday morning (7:30 AM – 12:00 PM) is our busiest window. If you want a Saturday slot, especially before holidays or family events, book at least a week ahead.
